and the gtv wheelbase 2400.two diffrent animals entirely.

My faded and distant memory tells me that Koni Reds on a soft setting are
not much, if any, stiffer than OEM.  My memory could be faulty, or perhaps
my definition of harsh is different from yours.

There's no reason the GTV6 should be any harsher than the Milano - it's the
same basic suspension.  From memory, a stock GTV6 suspension, i.e. torsion
bars, springs, swaybars, etc, are roughly the same as a 2.5 Milano.  The 3.0
Milano had a stiffer front sway bar.

If all else is equal in the suspension, then yeah, try OEM shocks.  I'm sure
you can sell the Koni's easily.
