Ah good. Because that's something else I forgot to point out. I've never
heard a dot. But I was just pointing out to that person that recordings
can at times be unfair. Good to hear that wasn't the case here though.

Also mic placement. Saddly recording gear doesn't exactly replace ear drums. I
would say only a Sound Devices 7 series recorder and some real good mic but
even at that I can't really judge as I've not heard a recording of a place I
know the full sound of made on 1 of those. All this to just say recordings
don't always do things full justice. Now some do more justice then the
youtubers think they do but nothing will replace ears. On topic though, I found
it interesting the dude said a smart fone sounds better then the origenal dot.
