Dane: Yes...as best as I understand, the Tap has been discontinued! Am sorry to see this happen! with the Tap, you cannot sync it with an Echo; this is to say, let's say you are listening to your Amazon music library on the Tap and wish to continue listening on an Echo where the Tap left off, this cannot be done (I've tried it) talked with a few folks from Amazon Tech support (in fact, one gentleman had sold me on a higher priced package in order to do this! But then I was able to speak with someone else from Amazon who apparently knew more than the guy I had previous had spoken with who informed me that there was really no way to do this with the tap! I do like the second Generation Echo; comes in handy for things like listening to baseball games as it has that big, robust sound (not stereo) the Tap is okay in the sound department (is in stereo) but not quite as robust as the Amazon Echo! And yes...I like the Pat's portability! Too bad that Amazon has chosen to discontinue it! Tom Kaufman
