Hello Andy, I didn’t hear him say that. He said it was amazingly quiet. In context he was comparing different recorders. Further more he did not use a dynamic mic such as the Shure SM7B. In fact he used a mic that claims to be the quietest mic on the planet.. In addition, he did not state how much post production processing he did. Even converting into .mp3 would reduce the noise because this is how compression works by throwing out the bits of audio we don’t need.
Perhaps, I missed that quote. Still an informative review. > On 14 May 2020, at 10:08, Andy via groups.io > <[email protected]> wrote: > > Hi Guys. > > You may remember within his H6 Review, Neal stated "I would not know just how > to measure the Floor noise , because there doesent seem to be one! > > > Andy. > > know ----- Original Message ----- From: "Hamit Campos" <[email protected]> > To: <[email protected]> > Sent: Wednesday, May 13, 2020 7:34 PM > Subject: Re: [all-audio] Recording from recorders like Zoom - How would you > do it? > > >> Ah yeah than 35 must be the 1 Neal sent.
