------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Wed Apr 16 14:23:47 +0000 2008 ------- Since I didn't mention this explicitly above: Yes, I like the behaviour as it is before the patch. Here is why: I am paranoid. I save often, very often. In fact, when writing texts or spreadsheets, Ctrl+S is probably my most often used keyboard shortcut. Maybe because I had OOo to crash and lose my changes too often in the past years :) So, for me, the *unpatched* behaviour is a useful feature, not a bug. Let's say I'm an advanced user who can handled the "additional complexity" of this feature. Then we're down to: Which user group to we want to satisfy? Either way, we will lose (the sympathy of) parts of our users. What's the bigger loss? Given the positions exchanged in this issue and in [EMAIL PROTECTED], I tend to think that there are less friends of the new/patched behaviour than of the old one. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
