If I understand your explanation, you would like the auto-correction to
*correct* even incorrect (from a grammatical point of view) punctuation
sequences for the User's freedom sake...
*I* don't agree to this because in this case we try to format the sequences
according to the rules (I hope!). If no auto-correction happens in some cases it
might mean "Hey! You expect an em-dash where there shouldn't be one!".
Nonetheless, reassign to UX for analyze.
