Close to the end of his life, when I mentioned the desirability
of such a project, he snorted and asserted that it would never happen.
"They'll never do it."
I do think he would like the cedar log cabin with earthen roof
that we have built. Almost built - the interior isn't quite finished
yet. We have to complete the electrical work, put up some kind of
sheetrock or something on partitions, but are too low on funds at the
moment. It's too cold to work on that project right now anyway.
