Dear Friends,
This Chinese terrestrial orchid , Bletilla striata, has
become a fairly common garden item through USDA Zone 5. Here it has
multiplied some years, waned others. I have seen it as a road side
weed in Central Sichuan in profuse "weediness".
I have never had a seedling and my feeble attempts to grow
seeds have all failed.
Does anyone have success with this self sowing around
purposeful seeding production?
