>I don't want to brag but we have C. hederifolium corms as big as dinner plates both in our garden and at the Cecil & Molly Smith Garden. When we built the parking lot at SG some of the corms had to be put in 2 gallon pots.
That's not bragging ;-) Our dinner plates are between 9 and 10 1/2" diameter, and Google, to find the size of a 2 gal pot, tells me you would need a very squat pot to get them in with space to grow, or maybe a 3 or 5 gallon ;-) I seem to recall from your email address you were at one time interested in Pleiones. Recently I have seen some Pleione speudobulbs too large to fit in an egg cup (chicken). Now that is bragging ;-) Happy Christmas!
