"duplex" was my first idea, too :)
but i thought it sounds too generic for the purpose.
namely, this plugin can behave also as half-duplex.

if other people prefer it, i'll rename it of course, though.

i don't think so.  the beautiful point of this plugin is that it
doesn't affect other codes at all.  that is, you can use safely your
old settings.

of course, extension of multi plugin would be easy, but i don't see
big merits by that.
