I don't have any specific ideas, but I've put a hack into the library to try to open the device a couple of times instead of giving up the first time. Maybe that will help? You'll want to download the "same" file and re-install; be careful though, InternetExplorer doesn't like doing that, so you may want to use FireFox or some other browser to make sure. -keith
