Once you reboot the altimeter you'll *have* to disconnect and reconnect USB for it to work again; the TM USB hardware doesn't have any way to reset the connection during reboot, so the computer gets completely confused. Sounds like it's working 'as expected' now? Does it connect reliably until you reboot it? A bit curious that it never times out anymore; it should try 5 times and give up. -keith
