Keep reading. There are two more messages following this as thoughts
developed. BTW, the message delay is now almost 24 hours as I wrote this one
last night.
I used a tapetype defined in the FAQ-o-Matic by somebody. I looked at about
10, they were all similar and defined the tape as holding 25Gb.

Firstly, how big are your tapes? How big did you tell amanda they
are in amanda.conf? How big are the 4 dumps you got on the tape?
Secondly, you can get one amdump run to use more than one tape by
configuring to use a changer and setting runtapes to more than 1.
