If you are still struggling with your problem you can first verify all your system files are intact by running ([Window key]r) type/paste in the following command
sfc.exe /scannow Then check for latest windows updates http://update.microsoft.com/ If you suspect RAM problems you can download a free tiny "Microsoft Windows Memory Diagnostic" http://www.softpedia.com/get/Tweak/Memory-Tweak/Microsoft-Windows-Memo ry-Diagnostic.shtml it runs from CD on boot and stresses your RAM. You can let it run overnight...
