If you are still struggling with your problem you can first verify all
your system files
are intact by running ([Window key]r) type/paste in the following
command

sfc.exe /scannow

Then check for latest windows updates http://update.microsoft.com/

If you suspect RAM problems you can download a free tiny "Microsoft
Windows Memory Diagnostic"
http://www.softpedia.com/get/Tweak/Memory-Tweak/Microsoft-Windows-Memo
ry-Diagnostic.shtml
it runs from CD on boot and stresses your RAM. You can let it run
overnight...

See if your problems started after installing new hardware/drivers,

Then check out

http://groups.google.com/groups/search?q=afd.sys&start=60&sa=N&;
or
http://groups.google.com/groups/search?q=0x000000d1+type+STOP+%28bugch
eck%29

You'll find plenty of references to similar problems
