Then your thinking went awry somewhere. Colour codes may have created
problems. So? They still exist. To pretend that keeping them out of AmIRC as
an auto-feature, when AmIRC already has them as a manual feature anyway
regardless, or even keeping them out of AmIRC at all, will make any
difference to those problems, is called "deluding yourself".
The codes exist. PPL use them. Other clients have the auto feature. Amiga is
a small percentage of IRC users. All this and more adds up to: Adding an
auto-feature in AmIRC for default colour code will NOT cause any problem
that does not already exist, nor will it worsen it.
In fact, to assume that it would, is to imply that AmIRC users are the
abusive type. Hands up any Anti-colour ppl that would hereby like to admit
they are the abusive type.
