Hi all, We've just had a very exciting discution over IRC about the upcoming FOSDEM conference in brussel. We are at least 6 aMSN developers who will be attending this conference (not initially intending to do so, but in order to meet up with other amsn devs, yes..), so this year's FOSDEM conference will be an official/unofficial meeting place for aMSN developers! :) The conference will be at brussels on the 23th and 24th of february (saturday and sunday), everyone is invited to come, and it would be great to be able to meet all of you guys! The aMSN Project can fund some of you if you don't have any money to go there. Funding could be for the train/plane/hotel. You are encouraged to fund yourself if you can, but if you can't, don't hesitate to ask. Funding will be limited and only available to developers.
I've set up a wiki page that you can fill http://www.amsn-project.net/wiki/FOSDEM_2008 If your name does not appear in there, we'll consider you're not going. It might also be useful to have everyone's cell phone number (for those attending), but for privacy reasons, do not put them on the wiki, so send me your phone numbers by mail, I'll build a phonebook and send a copy to those that will be joining us, so we can more efficiently meet up and not get lost. Many details are still missing but hopefully we'll figure out everything soon enough. For now, no 'limit date' to 'apply' is set, but sometimes soon we'll have to close the deal and say that anyone not having his list in the wiki will not be considered as joining us (you can still come, but you might not get a t-shirt, or you might have to find hotel/accomodations by yourself, etc...). Someone promoting himself as secretary/organizer/whatever would be welcomed, I'm not a good organizer, so don't count on me for reserving flights/hotels so if someone can do it, that would be cool to have it well organized. The conference is in 5 weeks, so start looking right now at your travel possibilities!
