This statement is not correct.  Analog obviously *is* looking at analog.cfg
- it's just not paying a lot of attention to where I'm telling it the
images are located.

(I solved some of my problems while composing the "More confusion" missive;
and failed to delete this statement before I hit the send button. Sorry all.)
