I have successfully upgraded from 3.32 to 4.1 under Win98.
Still having no success in uncompressing .gz files.
All my 31 May log files are in the format of access.may1.gz (one
for each day of the month), along with 2 in ascii form (access.may
and access.may.0 are located in the analog sub-directory.
gzip.exe is also located in that same directory.
My config.cfg contains the following commands:
LOGFILE acces*
UNCOMPRESS *.gz,*.Z "gzip -cd"
When I run analog, its report starts off with:
Analysed requests from Tue-30-May-2000 00:10 to Wed-31-May-2000
23:14 (2.0 days).
The two log files for 30/31 May are the only ones in ascii format.
All others are in .gz format.
As Analog is working, I see the following response on my MS/DOS
window for each of the 29 .gz files:
access.may1.gz: file not found
I cannot find any reference to this error message in the Error.html
file.
Can somebody suggest what my UNCOMPRESS command should read?
Many thanks.
Regards,
Terry
