You're funny!
I've maybe got some answers, interspersed:

BTW: off-topic, but on every Win9x machien I use, I make a shortcut to
Notepad.exe in the SendTo folder: this has the effect of allowing me to
right-click on *any* file, regardless of extension, and open it in Notepad.
Changing the program associations of extensions used to be easier; now I usually
just use the Registry Editor, a needlessly detailed exercise, but one which
brings back those heady days when I was working on OLE components.

The colon identifies 'C' as referring to a drive instead of a subdirectory of
the current working directory.
Did the full path you specified actually exist?

Did you then change LOGFILE to match? I.e., remove all the directory stuff from
the front.

Then OUTFILE *should* have ended up in the current working directory -- this may
or may not be the same as the analog.exe. Your best bet is to open an MS/DOS
session and run Analog from the command line. Then you *know* what's going into
it.

Unless that's what was in LOGFILE, this won't make a difference.

Oh. You did this. Did Analog give you any error messages?

The voodoo solution. Frighteningly, this often works under Windows.

Welcome to Windows.

This is all just as easy as throwing yourself at the ground and missing.
Hope all that helps. I know how painful it is to switch operating systems.
