Shift-right click on analog.cfg, choose "open with..." and choose "Notetab".
However there is a better free text editor called NoteTab Light at
http://www.notetab.com
BTW, your config file CAN have an extension different than ".cfg"!
Of course it MUST BE a text file, not a Word document or something else.
Simply launch Analog (from a DOS box) in this way:
Analog -g +gconfig.txt
