What does that "Document Views" in WebTrends report mean?
I am in another situation. Right after I set up analog, some people from business side tried to convince me to buy and use webtrends. I'm doubting if this highly hyped commercial product is any better than analog. Anybody with experiences in webtrends are welcome to give your inputs.
Thanks,
Jin
Hi-
I'm hoping someone will be able to answer this. I'm trying to convince
the company I work for to switch from WebTrends to Analog which is far
superior in my opinion.
I'm trying to determine if there is a one-to-one output between WebTrends and Analog for the outputs below. The column on the left is the output from WebTrends, and the column on the right is what I think the corresponding value from Analog is. In cases where the column on the right is '?', I need to know if Analog has a corresponding output.
WebTrends Analog ========= ====== Hits (Successful) Successful server requests Home Page Hits ? Page Views Successful requests for pages Document Views ? International Visits Domain Report Visits of Unknown Origin Domain Report Visits from United States Domain Report Unique Visitors Distinct hosts served
For the 'Average' columns above, it appears WebTrends just takes the total and divides by the number of days in the report period.
Also, for some reason I don't see my home page(<webroot>/index.html) in the Request Report, is there something I have to do to get Analog to report on this page in the Request Report?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
