Hi, I raised the Vista issue on this list, when the rtm first hit the W back in November last year. John came up with his helpful suggestion, but Stephen cannot confirm that this is the only change and does not want to commit more of his time when presumably, he is gainfully employed elsewhere.
Currently Vista registers as “OS unknown”, and accounts for about 4% of my traffic, less than Mac OS. I believe 64-bit variants of previous Windows versions register as “Unknown Windows” and it seems very few people who visit me use these, although still more than use Unix/Linux. Hence there are in fact a few updates that could be made, but these in the right hands, should be quite straightforward. I am happy to help in any way I can, but while I can do most things with applications software, I am not and probably never will be, a programmer. I also work mainly in Windows XP (32-bit). C’mon guys, I can’t believe nobody wants the kudos of taking this one on! Analog is dead otherwise...
