Hey Guys,

Good question Daniel and I wouldn’t panic in any case.

With me it’s mainly a design issue, but has to do with functionality as well.
I need to know what my site looks like and how it works under as many
platforms as possible, especially under different browsers, which all render
html/xhtml slightly differently.

The version of ie7 that comes with Vista is different from that which works
under existing Windows installations. As Jeroen says, webmasters need to know
about the user experience of those who visit their site and how much to worry
about this, i.e. how many people they have coming to them who use a particular
platform. Otherwise we end up back in the dark days of non-standardisation and
site labels such as “designed for Internet Explorer”...

Hoping this helps. Jeroen must have loads of computers!

Paul
