If you are looking for funding for your Android code development
costs, I can suggest a few people that may be able to provide you with
project funding information.

Once the Android Universal Remote Control is developed, I suspect the
JAUS Workgroup (government and industry funded) would be interested in
maintaining the control templates. Each device developed that is JAUS
compliant (heavy equipment, vehicles, robots, toys, ...) will need a
display configured for the cell phone. And if a non-standard cell
phone with additional features like inertial sensors is used, the
software must detect the type of phone being used to take advantage of
the flying mouse sensors.

The JAUS application reduces the development costs of remote control
applications. So industry will be interested in funding the
maintenance of the JAUS Android protocol configuration sets once
preliminary development is finished.

JAUS is not a fly by night undeveloped protocol, it is a Society of
Automotive Engineers (SAE) Standard.

As such, Ford, Chrysler, General Motors, Caterpillar, John Deere, and
all major industrial partners that help to maintain the SAE standards
are in support of the JAUS protocol.

A standardized protocol for a Universal Remote Control
