Your idea is good but I have to say you guys really wasted your time. Your idea was already implemented in a more universal and elegant way. Check this one and you will understand why: http://sourceforge.net/projects/ajaxvnc/
There are also some similar applications with this in sourceforge if you do a search. Basically it is a remote control tool that can be used by web browser. Compared with what you guys did, it is more universal and can control everything on PC from either any PC or any browser equipped device. Though it seems not quite mature, it is implemented pretty simple(I can wrote it myself in less than 5 days if I got that idea) and very easy to use. Plus it has at least two advantages over yours: 1. It doesn't require any extra application installed in mobile device. An ajax compatible browser is enough to remotely control the computer either from phone or from another PC. I tried it in android browser and it works fine. 2. Actually it can control everything on PC. What you did seems like only a couple of special applications that have interfaces you provided can be used. The only advantage you might have is that the data can be stored locally or received from PC into device. But that doesn't sound pretty impressive.
