Well said. I don't intend to waste my time for their success and get nothing in return. And I'm not talking about money here, I'm talking about transparency of the judging process, with clearly stated rules which can be verified by anyone. That's why I don't give a shit about the opinions of some "judge" or "industry expert" until I see 4 evaluation mails in my inbox with detailed explanations and scores in all 4 judging criteria. Which isn't gonna happen because nothing has been evaluated. I don't see any evidence that ADC2 isn't gonna be the same charade. This is why I won't participate and why I will encourage every developer I know to stay away from it. Only if Android somehow turns out to be a success will I release a version of my application for it. My good will is lost and now I'm only driven by business calculations, as is Google. I'm turning to other platforms where the most important asset Google can hope for - the developers - are treated with more respect.
