I thought of that but also thought of reasons to not do it. 1) I never like it when an app that does not NEED net access asks for it. My app would be in that boat. 2) Tracking installations is a bit creepy for a simple Live Wallpaper. 3) I don't have a server infrastructure to speak of. This is a hobby for now, not a full-time job, I can't justify putting money into hosting a server just to track users. 4) If they'll hack it to pirate it what stops them from blocking out the phone home bit of the code also?
