The ADT Wizard for signing works, yes, but it is a little confusing: it phrases the prompt as if asking for the same password for both the command-line -keypass option and the command-line -storepass options (which the reader should read up on but not use).
Now in fact, as long as you choose a strong enough password, there is nothing wrong with using the same for both -- unless you are doing something odd, such as allowing a group of people access to the entire keystore, but only a select few access to the particular key you have in mind to use (for signing the application). The advantage, of course, of using the same for both is that you have only one password to remember. Yes, I said 'remember': I consider it basic security to never, ever write a password down anywhere, especially not in your history file -- unless you destroy the media immediately. It is important to keep the key you used for the application, since if you lose it and start using another key, you will have difficulties upgrading the version on Google's Android Market. I don't remember the details, but I believe you will have to start a whole new product if you lose your key. So guard that key very carefully!
