With the two recent releases of ADT (it seems), my XML files by default don't open with the appropriate Android editor. The editor they open with is not the plain text editor, but rather some kind structured editor with XML tag highlighting, and a "Design" tab that lists the XML file structure.

Earlier, Android layout XML files would open with the ADT layout editor, and other Android-specific XML files would open with Android specific editors as well. It seems like this broke with ADT 13, or maybe after I switched to Eclipse 3.7, I'm not sure.

I tried using Eclipse preferences to associate *.xml files with the Android Layout editor, but that affects values/*.xml, menu/*.xml, etc., with very interesting effects.

It is possible to right click on a file and select Open With, but I also like to use Ctrl+Shift+R to navigate among my XMLs more quickly.

Is anyone else seeing this? Is there a fix?

Oh, and I just reinstalled Eclipse 3.7.1 Classic from scratch, as well as ADT r14. Made no difference. I'm on Windows 7 / 64 bit, which has not changed either.
