I see WebView flash when reloading, but as of 4.1.1, it uses its background
color value, making it usable with a dark color scheme.

I have no issue with the flash itself, but before 4.1.1, it flashed white
even if both View#background and <body background> were set to black. That
was too noticeable, now it's ok.
