Before I forget, I am only loading 2 sounds with SoundPool at this time. One of the sounds is played back at various rates from 0.75 to 1.45 the actual rate. I also tried sounds saved at a sample rate of 44100Hz, 22050Hz, and 11025Hz, if that makes any difference at all, although the results are always the same.
