Al, while you are right (and so is the opposing side) it's Google
who's to blame for this.
Assumption is the mother of all evil, and Google assumed devs would
want their phone copied from their profile, instead of providing one
f...@#$ing checkbox on the registration (or publishing) page asking for
that.

Where's the "do no evil" in this, huh?
