App delivery was not designed to carry any significant data outside of
resources. Even if technically feasible I'd say load the data from the
web - or, the cloud. What you could do is to implement an App Engine
service that delivers the relevant data. Not only does it keep the
size of your initial deliverable down, you can even stick it to Google
for using all their bandwidth (;->). I hope you didn't watch these
Android-is-o-so-easy clips. Getting things right still requires a lot
of work but it will pay off in the long run.
