I am also suffering from this problem. I'm running Windows Vista x64, Eclipse 3.4.2 x86_64 Classic (installed Java development tools). I also get this error if I try to reinstall it.
Any help on this would be great, I just got my Android Dev Phone today and I was hoping to use it on my x64 bit computer.
