I'm having the same problem when trying to get the ADT installed. I'm
also using Eclipse 3.4 Ganymede on Xunbuntu OS. When i add
https://dl-ssl.google.com/android/eclipse, eclipse says there isn't a
repository to install and won't let me do anything with it. When i add
the http:// version i get the tools and i can download them just fine
but i get
 An error occurred during provisioning.
Failed to prepare partial IU: [R]com.android.ide.eclipse.ddms
0.8.0.v200809220836-110569.

I've also tried to just download the ADT from the site and use the Add
Site > Archive ... method but when I do that It says that there aren't
any repositories and then eclipse won't let me do anything with it.

I've run out of options here and any help would be appreciated.
