No, it does not. The holiday phone does. ADP images (which google generates and are available from htc.com) You installed a holiday phone image, and now it is running the firmware that google employees with that phone+image are using.
ADP images (NOT holiday images!) do NOT poll for updates. Period. They are manually updated, that is why the htc page has all the up/downgrade information.
