I released Beer Cloud, which uses Drupal as the back-end (MySQL+APC +Memcache caching for the scalability). I have also written some classes on Android (not a library yet) for communicating with Drupal Services (JSON server). I plan to share those files once they are in the good shape. On the android side, it uses the GPS data and send it to Drupal.Location for proximity search. and it scan UPC-A barcode, and send it to match nodes via Drupal.Barcode .
