Well sorry I don't watch enough TV to catch any Redhat commercials, also never really seen a full page SUSE ad in the journal. Regardless of that stupid, made-up factoid I put in there to try to be funny, Google gets its money from searches, not from android. Furthermore, what would be the point of advertising something they aren't selling to consumers? They need to "sell" the OS to phone manufacturers who will resell it to consumers with the phone. There is no reason for google to match the huge dollars apple is spending advertising for the iPhone. It wouldn't make any sense.
