I think if Google ran ads for Android it would be the first time in history someone tried to advertise an open source project. T-Mobile released the phone here, they are the ones that should be advertising it. Google gives the software away for free AND is doing all this updating and bug fixing and you expect them to run ads for a phone that doesn't even make any more money for them than the iphone does? Makes no sense! Google makes money from advertising whether its on a computer screen or a phone. That meas Google makes money off iPhones, probably more so than android phones. Its crazy how many people don't realize this. Android is an OS for mobile phones that currently only comes on one handset from T-Mobile. T-Mobile is the one selling the phone, they profit from it, they should run the ads, end of story.
