Doesn't matter what you think he means. There are a billion different
things that you could conceivably do by remote.

I am not suggesting a whole custom build, just removal of one
component and *minor* modification of another.

Yeah, they are. Unless your calendar program is useless, you plug in
events and it hangs on to them. Unless you're just thinking of a
pointless "list", in which case a text editor will be just as good and
you can sync by emailing it to yourself.
