Ok, first: I won't top-post ;-)

Really there is only one thing to complain about, the source of all the bad:
there is no real community-list for android.
If you see some problem in linux kernels you go to LKML, describe the problem
and will find out that there are lots of helpful people including all relevant
gurus accepting the fact that input from others means _help_. This is why this
project is continously successfull over years.
Several months with android and G1 led me to believe that google really does
not listen - nowhere. If not HTC saved their a?? with a hardware superior to
iphone in terms of keyboard (which is really essential to certain people) the
whole thing would have already lost. We are not talking about re-invention of
the wheel, we are talking about rather trivial patches, existing source codes
(pptp) and _listening_. As long as they deny following common practice for
open platforms they have to live with people like me yelling "buuuuhhh" :-)
