lbcoder. At the risk of annoying you some more I have to say I think you have missed the point of my post.
The point is, to give the user the *option* to use a keypad which is in the same sequence as maybe 95% of the cellphones in use at the moment. Ie. the sequence of abc def ghi etc. Or just abcdefghi.......etc. I would have thought Android (or any OS) would jump at it.
