I can confirm that I know several people who are better at t9 style texting (with the abc/def/ghi... groupings) than a qwerty keyboard, especially on a touch screen, where bigger buttons mean more precision. @lbcoder: it's not that they _can't_ use qwerty, it's just that they'd prefer t9 and are more efficient with it.
