Yes, I am complaining and you're correct about 'shutting up' and
developing my own apps.. :-)

I have developed a number of apps for Windows Mobile and had
considered re-writing them for the Android. But I've had some
difficulty getting Eclipse working... and I am not even convinced
about the worthiness of the Android platform. The Android OS is clunky
and slow! I doubt anything I would develop can be made acceptably
responsive enough. I'm not willing to waste time only to be
disappointed. Correct me if I am wrong.

Please understand my frustration, I brought into the Android because I
was initially convinced of its huge potential. I was attracted to its
open framework, the ability to use a phone without the iPhone
restrictions, etc. But after four months of problems, dealing with a
carrier (Rogers) that refuses to update the 1.5 OS... I feel let down.
This phone barely functions as a phone. Yes, I could hack it and I may
do so when I have time. But my primary question is... is it worth the
effort?
