There are those of us who believe in Android and the possibilities of
a grand future.

Personally, I find the device I'm using (Google ION/Dev Phone 2) to be
responsive, efficient and effective. Learning to use the SDK and the
API have been fun and rewarding, it could be better but it also could
be a lot worse. I've written a well received application "Radar Now!"
that's had over 30,000 downloads (as of today) with a 71% retention
rate. It was my second app.

I'm using the device on the ATT network which offers no OTA updating,
I have to do it myself. It's not an issue though, doing updates is a
10 minute task that anyone should be able to follow. Perhaps Rogers is
a lousy network and you may also have a buggy phone. Pity you didn't
go for an unlocked device (dev 1 or 2), you'd have more control and
options.
