This happened when HTC updated the Sprint Hero as well. I'm not sure who
ultimately "fixed" things, but there were multiple threads and support
requests to HTC and various Google groups. This problem seemed to be
"resolved" in a few weeks with no explanation (much like a lot of things
Android). I do feel that most of this problem is stemming from poor
communication from HTC. They provided HORRIBLE support back when the Sprint
Hero came out in regards to the Sense UI mangling app icons.
