GDC is the Game Developer's Conference held annually in San Francisco. Early bird is the people who paid the registration fee before the 4th of February, if you are an early bird you got a 30% discount on the registration, and if you are an early bird and also signed up for the mobile games, independent games, or iphone summits you were eligible to get a free nexus one or droid phone.
