I finally received my confirmation letter at 9:15pm the day I called GDC Registration...twice.
The confirmation letter came attached to an email sent by Ben Veechai, the Marketing Director of the group putting on the GDC. The relevant text of the email is as follows: "...After evaluating our records it has come to my attention that you did meet the criteria for one Google Phone to be given away at GDC. Please find your enclosed confirmation letter as well as specific instructions on how and when to redeem your device on site..." Guys/gals, I sincerely wish you good luck in resolving the situation if you do qualify for the free phone and have not received your confirmation letter. Hopefully, the group putting on the GDC and Google will be prepared to handle the situation onsite at the Moscone Center. Google, if you see this discussion thread...PLEASE BRING EXTRA PHONES...A LOT OT THEM!!! ~Ron On Mar 2, 5:18 pm, Charlie <[email protected]> wrote: > I just finished my email conversation with a UBM (supposedly the > company handling the administration of GDC) representative and I would > recommend taking OldDogNuTrx's advice... call as soon as possible.
