I decided to write a script to pull some data from cyrket. So I stand
corrected for my magic 1000 number.

There are about 1200 games that are over 5000 downloads, and about
4300 apps that are over 5000 downloads.

Of those combined, about 5536 apps/games are 3.5 stars or over, and
they belong to about 2801 developers.

My numbers are a little bit on the lenient side, as I count any apps
that show a rating of 3.23 or higher on Cyrket. I think the cut-of
point for 3.5 stars is a rating of 3.25. I do this just to prevent
allegations that I am under-counting and thus not a fan boy of
Android.

Also, as of this writing, Cyrket records about 20277 apps and 4147
games, or a total of about 24500.

So if you have submitted an app to Android Market, your chance of
getting Seeding Device is more than 20%!

And this exercise probably blows off $1M of click money if each device
costs $300+.
