Brian, As I've said before, the GoogleTV unit doesn't do broadcast or DVD decoding, so it really isn't relevant. All that's relevant is the HDMI output and input standards it supports.
I guess if a post from a member of the Logitech product staff on Logitechs forums saying the Logitech Google TV categorically *will* work outside the US then I guess there's little I can do to convince you so I'll giving up trying.
